Media Monkey My Plugins

For some years I used iTunes for Windows for my music mediathek and was very happy. Then Apple made a new iTunes version and removed a lot of very good and unique good features - after Steve Job was died. iTunes was no more usable for me.

I looked for an alternative program and found Media Monkey. After some days of testing I bought the gold version.

• Works with a large amount of data without problems
• It is not really so slick as iTunes but you can install skins and will find one you like
• It has a large amount of practically functions which I missed in iTunes (browsing by path, store links to a tree node with tab, …)
• It is highly flexible and good for customizing (Hotkeys, Menu, Toolbars and a lot of settings)
• Last but not least it has a plugin interface to enhance or change its functions. User can make plugins for and share it.

For me as a software developer I am very enthusiastic about the last point and began to make my own plugins.
